Movie Poster Fridays May 15, 2009

I'm uploading more than one because it's the first week, but normally if people want to participate it will be ONE poster per week and they'll all be posted on Fridays.

Her pose has always reminded me of a girl looking in the mirror trying to emulate a Lolita figure. poster epitome imo.

this is an early poster. classic!

i remember seeing these teasers (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and getting a vibe, but they really impressed me AFTER I saw the film..and was blown away. My favorite is Jim Carrey's "I'M FINE WITHOUT YOU."

It's pretty intense to not sell an actor for a film, by covering up his or her face.
Intrigue versus excitement!

The poster for Welcome To The Dollhouse is an absolute classic.

I loved Eternal Sunshine; this is my first time actually seeing these posters, and they're all great. I particularly like the Kate Winslet one-- All of Gondry's films seem to benefit from really great graphic design in the promo materials.

This is a brilliant poster for a brilliant film. As the film centers around art, it makes sense to create a piece of art to promote it.

Another Rozema poster. Soulful but provocative. As a side note, this is in my opinion one of the best pieces of queer cinema ever.

An exciting, dynamic poster for an exciting, dynamic film. This really works perfectly.

that first poster of yours is WTF_AMAZING
and i've never seen the Chungking Express poster up so close. I love the knick-knacks all over it.
Please keep posting, you have fabulous taste. I'm trying to get this community more known, and I am sure there are people who would love to celebrate with us. ;)

You have fabulous taste too. :)

I love the idea of this community and it's been a ton of fun so far; it's really got me inspired to see new films and revisit old favorites-- there are so many great women in movies that have shaped my tastes, cinematically and otherwise. Glad to be here!
